Did you guys meet during that whole Revenge of the Nerds craze or something?

With your brains and her beauty, I'm glad the two of you use your powers for good.

Lovely pictures of a lovely lady.

From one guy who married a goddess, I salute your devotion to your wife.

She's no Beauteous Ghlaghghee, but she'll do.

STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL.....

Wow. World-class author and also married to her. You don't exactly rest on your laurels, do you?

She looks mighty fine in all the photos you post, but these are particularly glamorous.

Those are very entrancing photos of Krissy, John.

You gotta know you're loved when you can capture a smile like the one she graced you with in that 2nd picture! Frame that one for your office, sir.

BTW-my photos of your DC reading are posted on Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/58556028@N00/.

More Scalzi than I knew what to do with other than share...

With your brains and her beauty, I'm glad the two of you use your powers for good.

I'm sure you didn't mean to imply it, but this could be interpreted as suggesting Krissy is lacking the brains. Which, given John's previous anecdotes and general character, I highly doubt is the case.

And hey, show some love for the bald heads, too.

Dan | May 20, 2007 12:23 PM

Jon: Very true. I didn't mean to imply it, and after I saw it posted, I kicked myself. But, I figured Mr. Scalzi would get the gist of what I was saying. And, if not, Krissy could explain it to him.

But, I do apologize.

And hey! I don't dis the bald. I am one of The Bald. I stand tall and proud, and my head is a blinding, bright beacon of hope.

Pat Logan | May 20, 2007 06:22 PM

She's beautiful.

Kate | May 20, 2007 06:27 PM

Those are very awesome pics of Krissy. I wish half the pics that I have had done come out as good as those.

Karl: I smell photoshop goodness in most of those.

I'll join the chorus of enthusiasm for the pictures.

They got me thinking, though. I've heard the voices of both John and Athena, and can now hear those voices when reading their words and quotes.

(As opposed to the voices I may or may not hear at other times...)

But I haven't found a recording of Krissy's voice yet, so I have no voice to put to her quotes. Is there one I've missed, or is she keeping a "seen, but not heard" philosophy on the Whatever?

Cheers,

Phil

John Scalzi | May 21, 2007 06:12 AM

There's one you've missed.

Patrick M. | May 21, 2007 08:58 AM

Interestingly, she sounds an awful lot like James Earl Jones with a respirator. And that is the number one quality to look for in a spouse.

Phil B. | May 23, 2007 06:02 AM

Ah! Found it.

(Along with a number of articles previously missed or forgotten. Must think of more excuses for an Archive Hunt.)

Cheers,

Phil
