Eleven Years

I've been married for eleven years today. It's good to be married. And now, I'm stepping away from the computer for the rest of day.

A rather serene photograph, isn't it? Congratulations, John! May your relationship last forever.

Congratulations and happy anniversary.

I just have one question:

Who's the guy with all the hair making out with your wife?

Today is our #11 also. Glad to know that I'm not the only one in the wedding hair I reconsidered for men club . . . .

Holy cats!!! Lookit all that hair!

Does getting published make your bald? If so, I must be on my way to publication!

I'm less than a month away from 30.

I'm forever amazed that she still feels like hanging around me.

Life's full of miracles.

Congrats John, and many many more. Jim and I had our 27th last August, and it surely doesn't seem like that long. (Then again, the very fact we met was via SF fandom, so it isn't that unlikely that it worked..)

Heather Braum | June 17, 2006 09:08 PM

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.... I remember that day!!! You two are so beautiful. I love you guys.

Thena in Maine | June 17, 2006 09:41 PM

What enquiring minds want to know is
whether Krissy has had to tattoo him yet.

(And congratulations to you both!)

J | June 17, 2006 11:55 PM

Anniversary and Father's Day in two days. Wow. What a great weekend for Scalzi.

Wonky Muse | June 18, 2006 02:30 AM

Happy Anniversary to you and the missus, John. Here's to the next eleven years and a dozen more eleven years after that!

Lawrence Schimel | June 18, 2006 02:32 AM

Happy anniversary!

You are such a sweet couple together!

Burns! | June 18, 2006 05:54 AM

Holy CRAP! Eleven years! I was part of that wedding, and it sure doesn't seem like eleven years ago.

You're a lucky man, John (but, you knew that.) Happy Anniversary to you both.

Of course, even eleven years later the lava lamp still lights up my room. Love that thing.

rick mcginnis | June 18, 2006 09:51 AM

Congratulations, John and Krissy! Eleven years might not seem like a long time, but in internet years, it's the life span of a couple of civilizations. I hope you did something nice that didn't involve cutting grass.

Erin Hartshorn | June 18, 2006 02:48 PM

Congratulations! May you enjoy many more years together.

Anne C. | June 18, 2006 05:52 PM

Congratulations on your anniversary! Thank you for being a great example of an egalitarian marriage.

Fred | June 19, 2006 03:45 AM

Pictures like that give me hope for the future. Congratulations.

James Goodman | June 19, 2006 12:48 PM

I'm a little late for the party, but here is a belated happy anniversary. May there be many more...

Becky | June 26, 2006 03:08 PM

Aww! Happy Belated Anniversary! We had our 14th on the 21st of June. Good month for weddings, I hear. ;-)
